Have fun with an engaging group while lending your expertise to the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program Advisory Team. Advisory team members assists the project sponsor and staff to carry out its mission to engage men and women, age 55 or better in meaningful volunteer service that strengthens the well-being of both self and community. The vision of RSVP is to be a bridge between those who need and those who give. Advisory member(s) would reside in Anoka County MN to have an understanding of geographical area.


Responsibilities:

1. Advises and supports the RSVP project director in forming local policies.

2. Relays pertinent community information.

3. Provides ideas and/or contacts for developing new volunteer opportunities.

4. Assists with the marketing and recruiting of RSVP.

5. Helps plan and participates in RSVP recognition event(s).

6. If applicable, Hears any grievance procedures filed by a RSVP member.

Meeting Schedule:

Regular meetings are: September, November, January, March, May, and June. Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of the month at 2:00 PM. At this time the meetings have moved from in-person to conference calls until further notice.
